Privacy Policy

Your privacy

Wavelength is built on meaningful connections, and that starts with treating your information with respect. Here is exactly what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

What we collect

Your account email and name; the profile details you choose to add, like display name, age, bio, avatar, and social handles; your quiz results and group memberships; the messages you send in groups and direct chats; and, if you opt into identity verification, the USA driver’s license you submit.

How we use it

We use your information to place you in trait-based groups, show you matching members, run group chats, vacation raffles, and votes, process your membership payment, and keep the community safe.

Your controls

You can stay anonymous within any group, and the Explore toggle in your profile removes you from other members’ discovery and match lists. You can edit or clear your profile details and cancel your membership at any time.

What we never do

We never sell your personal information. Your license document is not reviewed proactively — it is only examined after a report concerning your account — and your chat messages are only reviewed when another member flags them.

Questions and changes

If you have questions about this policy or want your information removed, reach us anytime from the Contact page. If we make material changes to this policy, we will let you know in the app before they take effect.

Questions about your data? Send us a message and we will get back to you.
